The United Way of Marion County is hosting its Inaugural Day of Action on Thursday, June 21, 2018. Volunteers are needed to participate in various projects such as painting, cleaning, landscaping and visiting with clients at various nonprofits in Marion County.

The United Way Day of Action is a new event in Marion County designed to foster service and volunteering in the community. Participants from companies and organizations will spend the day helping local non-profit agencies. These volunteers recognize the benefit of having a firsthand opportunity to learn how United Way and local organizations are meeting the human service needs in our community.
Volunteers receive a special commemorative t-shirt and are treated to lunch at the Kick-off event, which will be held at Palatine Park.
