The United Way of Marion and Taylor Counties held their annual meeting of the membership virtually on March 16, 2021. During the meeting, leaders elected the officers and new members of the organization’s 2021-2022 Board of Directors.
Dani DeVito of ShalePro Resources will serve as President, Christine Miller of Taylor County Schools, Vice President, Rebecca Miller of ND Paper, Secretary, Michael Angelucci of Marion County Rescue Squad, Treasurer. Blaire Nuzum-Wise of Miller Law Office and Rosemary Thomas of Davis and Elkins College were named as the 2022 Campaign Co-Chairs.
The board elected new members, including: Jessica Hayes of BC Bank, Carletta Edwards of Huntington Banks, Kristen DeVaul of North Marion High School, Rosemary Thomas of Davis and Elkins College, Jennifer Morgan of Busch, Zurbach, & Thompson, Whitney Phillips of Carte Hall CPA, Kristie Vandevander of Vandevander & Nypl CPA, Amy Schumacher of Movement Mortgage, Alicia Lambert of Tucker County Schools, and Eric Ruf of Barbour Community Health Association.
Retiring Board members were honored for their service and include: Melanie Thompson, Chuck Mullet, Patrick Snively, Amy Snively, and Johnny Moore.
“United Way’s Board of Directors is filled with dedicated individuals who are passionate about helping our community,” said Brett White, Executive Director. “In particular, United Way has benefited from the tremendous leadership of our retiring board members. They have given countless hours to help United Way continuously improve and grow. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to give a heartfelt thank you to all of them!”
