United Way is a hub of community engagement and action. Our vast and diverse community of donors, volunteers, companies, and philanthropies come together through us to act compassionately and purposefully to fill needs for partner agencies serving our region. Last year alone, we mobilized 6,360 volunteers in meaningful activities that benefit nonprofits and the people they serve. This includes distributing food, holiday care packages, and hygiene supplies. Individuals rely on United Way for opportunities to engage on their own or with their colleagues.

Companies that partner with us or run a workplace campaign are offered volunteer engagement opportunities that unite their employees and customers in acts of service that benefit our partner programs. And, our volunteers have fun, meet new people, understand the issues and expand their networks.

Individual Volunteering
